Ferrite magnets are the cheapest permanent magnets. They are less strong than neodymium magnets are but they can be heatened higher as magnets of NdFeB: they can stand temperatures up to approximately 250°C. They are often used for wirings. Due to their high proportion of ferrite they are rust-prone but this has no influence on magnetic force.
