AlNiCo: Raw Magnets
Rod magnets of AlNiCo are less strong than such of NdFeB (Neodymium) and in bigger sizes sometimes more helpful than the latter. Block magnets of AlNiCo are magnetised "from end to end" and therefore in a different way from block magnets of neodymium or ferrite. Block magnets are sometimes called rod magnets but note: block magnets are rectangular, rod magnets are cylindrical.
