Product information "Horseshoe Magnet 30 mm Y10"
Small educational magnets of ferrite are strong enough to collect first experiences in magnetism but on the other hand weak enough to avoid injuries of children's fingers. They are also suitable as pole finders.
| Article number: | U-30-Fe |
|---|---|
| Depth (T): | ~ 5 mm |
| Determination of holding force: | Holding force measured on constructional steel (min. 10 mm). Other metallic bonding surfaces or influences (e.g. air humidity, dust, vertical position, outdoor use) might reduce holding force. 1 kg ≈ 10 Newton. |
| Grade of magnetization: | Y10 |
| Handling: | Magnets can break or shatter in an uncontrolled collision. |
| Height (H): | ~ 30 mm |
| Holding force: | ~ 150 g |
| Leg distance (SB): | ~ 6 mm |
| Material: | SrFe ([hard] ferrite) |
| Max. op. temperature: | ~ 250°C |
| Net Weight: | ~ 13,7 g |
| Safety information: | This is not a toy. Inappropriate use might cause injury. |
| Special Information: | Ferrite belongs to the group of ceramics. Therefore they can break or shatter easily when they fall down., Surface may be uneven or have grove or chips. This is intrinsic to material and not a production defect. |
| Tolerance: | ± 0.3 mm |
| Width (B): | ~ 29 mm |
